Examine SPS files and Recording System Status Files
Modern recording systems produce log files containing lots of often very useful data. The problem is displaying it in a useful way. Here is a collection of tools that I have created.
For the source pattern displays, Sercel VAPS and IO SP1 formats are supported.
It is an ongoing work, so will never be finished. I am prepared to offer it to selected individuals however, probably from early 2009. Contact me through the contacts page if you are interested.
- Elevation Profiles from SPS and RPS
- Daily Production Calculation from SPS out, with XPS validation
- Compare SPS and RPS coordinates
- Display the actual Vibrator pattern (true positions)
- Append files of the same type
- Find first and last points of SPS files, optionally generate a KML file for viewing in Google Earth
- Sort RPS and SPS files
